Whether you’re a regular participant, or looking to join your first ever Run, you’ve come to the right place. Round the Vines is an engaging and fun event, geared towards people of all ages and from all walks of life. 

Pre-Registered Entrants


Individuals and teams who enter online, including those who still hold tickets from the cancelled 2020 events will be able to collect their registration pack including instructions, numbered bibs and the event safety guidelines from the Martinborough School hall 14 Dublin Street (or Roberts St entrance) on Friday 11th March between 3:30pm-7pm or from 8am in the Square on the morning of the event. On the day registrations will incur a late registration free  of $5/individual. 

On Day Registration


Available for INDIVIDUALS ONLY (no team registrations on the day). Desks open 8am in Martinborough Square. Please note that late entry fees apply to on day registrations. We strongly recommend that you pre-register due to limited places.

Event Safety


Participants must adhere to safety rules and event instructions. Please note, no dogs and no bikes are allowed on the course. All participants must attend the event briefing which will take place in the Square 15 minutes before their race start time.

Placings


The first ten women and first ten men in each event will be given their placings. Prizes will be awarded to the first three individuals home in every event. Top ten placings will also be given for under 14-year-olds in the 10km run event.

The Finish and Prizegiving


The course ends back at Martinborough Square where you can have lunch and enjoy more live entertainment.  There will be food, wine, coffee and other non-alcoholic beverages available to purchase. 

The live entertainment kicks off from 11:30am through to 2pm.

Prize-giving starts at 1pm (approx. 20mins)

You must be present to be eligible for any of the huge selection of spot prizes and awards for best dressed teams and individuals. 

Transport & Accommodation


Transport after the event:

Claremont Cabs are available for local transport home if required. It would pay to book to avoid disappointment.

FAQ

When is the last day I can register?

You can register anytime before the event, including on race day. However there is a limit of 1500 entries, registrations will be closed once our maximum is reached so get in quick so you don't miss out.

Is your event suitable for all ages?

Yes, this is a fun run or walk through the country road and vineyards of Martinborough suitable for the whole family.

Are there toilets on the course?

Yes - there are toilets in Martinborough Square where the race starts and ends.  There are also Port-a-loos positioned throughout the course next to the Drink Stations.

What is your refund policy?

All entry fees are treated as donations to Martinborough School.  Entry fees are non-refundable, the event goes ahead rain or shine.

Is the course Pram, Buggie or Wheelchair friendly?

Yes it is.  Please be aware that there are some off road sections through vineyards and on gravel roads.

Where do I park on the day?

Parking is readily available on the many side streets around Martinborough Square. The is no time restriction on parking. Please be aware that there is no parking in Martinborough Square and this will be partially closed from 8am on the day of the event.
